The next set of classes for beginners commences on Wednesday 28th September, 2011. Classes begin at 19.30 and are held in the club’s venue in St. Michael’s Special National School, Ballymun Road, Glasnevin Dublin 9. The tutor is Anne Doyle (C.B.A.I. affiliated) and the fee is €100 per term, which includes light refreshment during the break. There is ample free parking.
The course consists of two terms of 10 weeks duration each. Application forms and contact details are available for download from our Website or you can apply online. Glasnevin Bridge Club makes every effort to prepare Novices for integration into the Club and in this regard, following the completion of the course, applicants will be invited to join the Club on payment of the C.B.A.I. fee only for 2011/2012. On each Wednesday (Club Night) at 7.00pm, Novices may attend, free of charge, a 20 minute question and answer or topic related session prior to commencement of play in their own group. These sessions will be mentored and will facilitate the Novices' integration into the Club after four weeks. The question and answer sessions will continue each week until the last Wednesday in May.
Please note that we are generally oversubscribed so early booking is advisable. Places may be reserved on full payment of the fee on or before the 21st September, 2011.
